Welcome to the Minnetonka High School Trap & Skeet Team website! MN High School Trap Shooting
Our MissionTo teach youth shooters firearms safety, responsibility, and the shooting sports.
Team ProfileWe are an official Minnetonka High School (MHS) Team. We offer the high school and middle school student the opportunity to receive an athletic letter in trap shooting. Our regular season runs April 12th thru June 13th,2010. The Minnesota State Tournament and Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Championships are in July and August. We shoot primarily at the Park Gun Club. We have 45 boys and girls from the Minnetonka high and middle schools in the program. Registration for the 2010 season will be February 1st, 2010. A MN DNR firearms safety card is required to join. Cost of the program is $200.00 per member to shoot 20 rounds of trap (each round is 25 targets), shot shells included. The team has membership in the SCTP, Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), and Minnesota Trapshooting Association (MTA). For skeet information, click the hyper link.
