Trap Team sign-up: The date for sign up is February 9th 2012 4-5:30pm in the team room, west entrance lower level, at Minnetonka Senior High School.
PLEASE NOTE: This year a parent MUST BE PRESENT with the student for sign-up.
PAPERWORK: ALL forms must be completed and turned when you sign up, there will be no exceptions. Last year we had to literally fight to get the proper forms completed by the students. We as coaches are all volunteers and we donate our time to the club. We don't have time to chase forms.
"Students are required to pay the activities fee at the activities office before joining the team."
FEE: Please bring a check for $230.00 for RETURNING SHOOTERS and $270.00 for NEW SHOOTERS. This includes your shells and range fees (and a vest and embroidery for new shooters). If you are having a financial hardship please e-mail coach Korin @ srkorin@gmail.com
WHO GETS IN: We have been overwhelmed with questions regarding joining the TRAP TEAM. We have 45 spots available and they will be filled in the following order: Returning Shooters, Oldest-Youngest. Remember that girls are not only welcome but encouraged to join the team. Last year we had 4 female members of the team and we would love to see more join the team. We will most likely not be able to accommodate any middle school students again this year.
MANDATORY SAFETY MEETING: We will have a mandatory safety meeting on March 8th in the team room at the high school. We will cover all aspects of team safety as well as what we as coaches expect from our team members.
GUN FITTING SESSION: We are planning on having a gun fitting session one day before the first day of shooting. At this time you can find out all you need to know about proper gun fit, gun mount, and proper stance and form. The date and location are yet to be determined so please watch the web site for information on this date.
