Welcome shooters to another great year of trapshooting for MHS! Registration for the MHS Trap & Skeet Team's 2010 season will be February 1st,2010, at the Minnetonka High School, from 3:00-5:00pm. We anticipate we will exceed our 45 shooter limit again this year. In order to make the registration process more efficient, please read the procedure below and follow it exactly. All communication and registration forms will be by email or web link only. I need the email addresses of both the shooter and a parent. Because some ISP's and spam filters block email, I am providing my three email addresses. If I can not reach you by email, you can not register. The 2010 SCTP registration, medical consent, and sportsmanship contract forms are ready. Click on the hyperlink to open them. The following link for the 2010 MHS Activities office eligibility form must be completed by all high school shooters. If you have participated in any other sport/activity for 2009-2010 you may have already completed this form. Please bring proof of registration to the sign up meeting on 2/1/2010. https://www.minnetonka.k12.mn.us/mhsactivity/EligibilityFClub.aspx Middle school shooters need the following form, please bring proof of registration with you to the 2/1/2010 sign up. http://www.minnetonka.k12.mn.us/Schools/MinnetonkaHighSchool/activities/Documents/Middle%20School%20Waiver%20Form.pdf It is your responsibility to print and complete these forms fully. 2009 forms will not be accepted. Missing or incomplete forms will not be accepted and the shooter will not be allowed on the team. You must also provide a new copy of your MN DNR hunter safety card and a check for $200.00 made out to the MHS Trap & Skeet Team. Failure to provide these will prevent membership on the team. Completed 2010 registration, medical consent forms, sportsmanship contract, MN DNR firearms safety card copy, 2010 MHS Activities office eligibility form, and $200.00 check must be turned in at registration on February 1st, 2010. Once the 45 shooter limit is reached, other applicants will be placed on a waiting list. We will have a mandatory safety and orientation meeting on March 8th, 2010. Shooters and coaches cannot join the team unless you attend this meeting. The ten week season will begin in April 12th and finish June 13th, 2010. Several tournaments will be available during the summer for shooters interested and able to pay the additional cost. Thanks for your interest in our trap team. Lots of fun and friendly competition awaits those who can successfully complete the registration and orientation procedure! |
