MHS Takes Home Honors at 2010 MN High School Trap Championship.MHS varsity #1 squad took 3rd place, JV#1 2nd place, and Novice#1 5th place. David Plaziak and Cody Ziemer shoot off for top varsity boy with Plaziak 1st, Ziemer 2nd. Erin Hance placed 2nd varsity girl. Kyle bunkelman won a shoot off for 1st jv boy and Madeline Mangan took 1st jv girl . Congratulation to all the shooters from MHS who participated at this big shoot. 2010 MN High School State Trap Shoot - 2010 MN state high school shootJune 7th Last chance to shoot and picinic. Subs, chips, drinks at 5:00. Shooting at 5:30. Please bring a dessert or side dish to share if possible.
No shooting May 31st due to Memorial Day.Park Gun Club to open on Friday, June 4th at 3:00 for make up rounds. Thanks to Park's Dave Vice, Perry White, and Larry Compton (our RSO) for all their time and effort this season. Many of our volunteers have no children in the program and all donate their time. Pictures Updated: 2010 Pictures Teams Looking For A Home Gun Club: Minneapolis Gun Club (MGC) is offering targets for $3.00 per rounds to any youth shooting team that will use MGC as their home club. MGC has also added another trap machine bringing their total fields available to eight. MGC hosts the annual MN High School Trap Shooting Championship each June. Thanks to this member owned club and all their volunteers for supporting youth shooting!New Shooters: March 21st, 12:00 at Park Gun Club. Gun fitting and walk thru a round of trap (no ammo). Bring your gun (cased). Do not un-case until instructed to by a coach.Tournament Team: Practice at Park, March 21st, Bring money for targets and shells.Make up Safety Meeting: Park Gun Club House, March 21st 11:30am.
Message from Coach Steve Korin regarding our gun fitting session:
March 21st "gun fitting"
session at Park: Please note that we will not make any alterations to your
gun that cannot be easily reversed
Any alterations we do to your
gun will involve adding some type of padding to the top of the stock to get
your eye properly aligned with the barrel. This padding can be easily
removed by simply peeling it off.
We will note devalue your gun
in any way!!!

1/14/2010 - Registration forms are posted on the 2010 Registration page. Registration for the MHS Trap & Skeet Team's 2010 season will be February 1st from 3:00 to 5:00pm, at the Minnetonka High School. We anticipate we will exceed our 45 shooter limit again this year.
